About
The media called him the Stoic. It could have been because of the way he took his victims. Thoughtfully. Making them disappear with no real sign that he had been there. Or maybe it was because of how he killed. Slowly. Taking the time to watch as his victims took their last breaths. Detective Talie Ruiz thought that it was because of how he branded them. The word WAIT burned into their bodies.
Whatever the reason, Talie, a plus-sized Latina detective with the Los Angeles Police Department is determined to find him. Saddled down with a new partner, that she didn't want, and a list of victims that have a connection that she senses but struggles to find, Talie is ready to hunt this Stoic until she catches him and puts him in a cell. But she may not be ready for what she finds.
