Vital Message

The bestselling author of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries expands upon his thoughts in The New Revelation with evidence of a coming spiritual transformation.

A Second Dawn will come not when the spiritual descends to us, but by the ascent of our material plane to the spiritual, and the blending of the two phases of existence. This is what Arthur Conan Doyle proposes as the cure for a world thrown into political and religious tumult after the First World War. With human failing and corruption thrown into stark relief, reform is necessary-readjustments based on the certainty of life after death and a sense of responsibility for our own spiritual development.

In The Vital Message, Doyle asserts that Modern Spiritualism is the movement destined to bring vitality to the dead and cold religions. With the arrival of two very convincing forms of mediumship, the direct voice and spirit photography, there is greater proof than ever of

Spiritualism's claims that the soul and personality survive. The challenge is for religious leaders to embrace Spiritualism as their greatest ally. Doyle goes on to lay out what the benefits of this transformation will mean to the human psyche and the world.
