Jack Taylor is an attorney living a boring life. But when a former college friend, Damon Masters, shoots two innocent men from a rooftop, Jack volunteers to represent him. Masters says the men weren't innocent. And when he claims he is a vampire and wants to die, the case immediately becomes a nightmare. Jack asks his old and current crush, Dr. Michelle Hill, to examine him. She discovers he isn't crazy. She also discovers she is very attracted to Masters, although she doesn't want to be. Masters escapes and the war is on. Jack enlists Bob Wetzel, former CIA, and detective Eric Rowan for help. They have to find a way to discover Damon's ultimate plan and stop him. But Damon has abilities far above normal men. When Masters kidnaps Michelle, they have to save her. And then Damon's older sister, Lera, joins their team. It could ignite an all-out vampire war.
