Vacation Murder is the chilling sequel to The Girls 'Til Death Do Us Part. The Gay Pride Festival has just commenced in Key West, Florida. The jubilant mood quickly changes when a naked male victim is discovered stretched atop rocks by the beach. The LGBTQ community goes into an uproar. Specific acts perpetrated on the victim are leaked to the press and flagged across news channels leading viewers to believe the graphic murder is a hate crime.
Yet, one specific act made against the victim leads seasoned Chicago Detective Rick Lombardi on a multi-level hunt to finally solve Jennifer Lawson's evil murder from back in 1988. A disturbing similarity is present
with the current victim that Lombardi had only seen performed on Jennifer Lawson's body in his three decades on the job. He smells a connection.
The detective had always believed that Natalie Grant was the murderer, yet the extensive investigation shed no conclusive proof connecting her. Here it was almost thirty years later, and he was sure he had finally caught her.
While the current homicide is being investigated, the two initial detectives are unjustly taken off the case. Lombardi teams up with the duo to solve the ruthless conundrum. The wild chase leaves readers suspended between acts and disinformation. Things just don't add up. Will Rick Lombardi finally solve the decades old mystery? Only Natalie Grant can lead him to the truth, or so she says.
