A provocative allegory to help individuals and leaders develop a sense of their true identity, permission to dream, and courage to transform
An allegory about an origami crane's dream of becoming a paper plane, Unfolded imparts a philosophy and strategy to help leaders meet their full potential, cultivate better relationships, and grow their leadership capacity. Through purposeful storytelling, the book encourages readers to join a journey of transformation, self-acceptance, and expression, helping them unpack their identity and build confidence in themselves.
Readers will learn how to look within to navigate their lives and about the importance of understanding the internal map of their life story, lived experiences, lessons learned, and shaping relationships. This book gives readers permission to dream and shows readers how to:
• Work with your feelings of self-doubt, fear, shame, guilt, and judgment when taking the next step forward
• See play as practice in disguise, and trying as intentional practice
• Track stories, maps, creases, folds, and dreams to look at your life and learn something important
Unfolded is a critical business book empowering individuals and leaders to begin a discussion on personal wellbeing and professional influence, and help their people understand how meaningful relationships and lived experiences are shaping how they show up on their teams, their families, and in the world.
