Unearthing is a memoir written from the perspective of an autistic adult navigating belief, doubt, and meaning in a world shaped for other minds. Through experiences in faith communities, underground music, family life, and the body, Brad Norris examines how conviction forms and how certainty fractures when perception does not easily conform. Autism is present not as diagnosis or deficit, but as a way of sensing intensity, order, noise, and silence. Unearthing follows the slow work of learning how to live honestly when inherited frameworks no longer hold.
