Undocumented and in College

When she was 9 years old, L.E. May's teacher set a homework assignment to write a sentence that demonstrated her understanding of the word 'ambition'. She wrote, "When I grow up, I want to be an author, like Jackie Collins." She has always pursued a more creative career. Following university she lived in London, working in a few music industry companies. When she moved back to Liverpool she started working in a communications role, focusing on digital media and eventually, following redundancy in 2011, she started my own business, providing website design, graphics and film/animation services.
