Undergrad: a commonplace book is an anthology of works by writer Laila El Mugammar, comprised of selected poetry, prose fiction, personal essays, and academic writing completed during her four-year Honors English BA at the University of Guelph. This text centers the Black Canadian perspective in its mindful reflections on anti-Blackness on campus, libraries, disordered eating, sexual violence, Islamophobia, queerness, and more.
