Rebecca Ballard is barely holding it together. A new mother struggling to reconnect with her husband, she leaves the house on a simple errand, hoping for a moment of peace. But when her car breaks down on a lonely country road, and a stranger named Ted Armitage offers help, the real nightmare begins. At first, Ted seems persistent. Then he becomes unrelenting. Rebecca escapes once – but not far enough. Before long, she's dragged to a remote farm, where the past screams through every creaking floorboard. Ted insists she has a chance to survive, that everything depends on her choices. But choices mean nothing when the rules keep changing... and when your captor enjoys watching you squirm. As Rebecca plots another escape, she starts to sense something is wrong – not just with Ted, but with the land itself. At night, strange noises rattle the walls. Ted grows more erratic, as if something unseen is closing in. Something older. Something worse. She thought she was alone with a killer. She was wrong. Twist Valley is the second installment in the Ted Armitage trilogy, a dark descent into the quiet horrors of rural England – where some secrets are buried deep, and some should never be unearthed.
