About
The 1960's were a chaotic and turbulent time in our history. Many uprisings and changes were beginning to take place with a lot of drama, some good and some violent.
This was the background in our society at that time and it was portrayed in the movies and television shows and reflected in the lives of the stars and the background players behind them with their own personal dramas.
What goes on behind the stars can be just as interesting and intriguing as the stars and shows themselves. Try Later takes the reader on a journey with several young women who, working as background players, meet each other while working on the sets of television shows and movies.
They become close friends and share in their ups and downs while struggling to find their own way in deciding which goals they really want to pursue and which one will bring them true happiness.
One ends up marrying the brother of a big star, the other marries an agent, one becomes an artist and one raises a family.
