It is OK for a believer to doubt! It is the way they handle doubt that matters, and that is dependent not only on the strength of the individual's trust and faith in God, but their available support and willingness to think things through. John the Baptist was God's appointed messenger announcing the imminent arrival of the Messiah to Israel. His ministry came to an abrupt end when Herod put him in prison.
