Since the day he left prison, Michael Carsonsought a second chance. Helping troubledteens in a church youth group seemed a goodplace to start. Working alongside youth leaderMaggie Simmons, Michael could see his newlife before him-;a life he hoped would includesmart, pretty Maggie. But because of herpainful past, she was wary of trusting anyone, least of all an ex-con. When circumstancesbeyond his control threatened to pull him awayfrom Maggie and the kids, Michael prayed hecould resist old temptations and keep God-;and Maggie-;close to his heart.
