When impoverished artist Marcus Peterson travels to a private island to paint for reclusive billionaire Jasper Carmichael, it's all about the money-at first. But the subject of this portrait, Jasper's younger lover, August, proves even more alluring. As August sits for the painting, he and Marcus grow close, until August shares a secret: Jasper is an international criminal and a dangerous man. 



Marcus decides he has no choice but to complete the painting and leave as soon as possible, hopefully taking August with him. But Jasper is a possessive and jealous man. Can they escape with their lives and hearts intact?
