The study devotional, Trajectory is designed to help athletes, coaches, and the like encounter a deeper look of knowing more truly who they are in Christ beyond what they do in sport. Jesus prayed specifically for you in John 17, asking His Father for all of us to come to truly know Him. This knowing is on the face to face level of knowing someone like you would through conversation and exchange of story. There are many pathways in life, the question is, the one you are on, where is it headed? God desires for us to know Him deeply and in turn grow in knowing ourselves. This is the trajectory He desires for us, will you take it? The hopes of this devotional, is to be a guide as you pursue the trajectory to grow in knowing Him. Shannon Talor O'Brien is a passionate about helping people discover their worth and significance through Christ and helping them pursue the trajectory that leads them towards being known more deeply by Christ, and knowing Him. Shannon has a Masters of Divinity degree and is a certified Spiritual Director. As an NCAA Division 1 coach, Shannon seeks to use sport as a platform for Christ-centered Spiritual formation through athletics. Shannon and her husband met through a professional soccer ministry and have two children. Collectively they desire to grow God's Kingdom through knowing Jesus and making Jesus known. Previous publications for Shannon include illustrating a children's book called, "You Matter" A title that echoes her passion in helping people discover their true worth in Christ.
