Tools Daddy Kept is a heartfelt children's picture book collection that turns ordinary tools into extraordinary stories of love, memory, and family connection.
Inside Daddy's old toolbox are the things he used every day. A worn flashlight. Rusted wrenches. Faithful screwdrivers. Heavy sockets. A well-used ratchet. A tape measure marked with years of hard work. To most people, they are just tools. But to one child, each item holds a story, a lesson, and a memory that still shines bright.
As the child explores Daddy's toolbox, every object reveals something special about who Daddy was: hardworking, creative, dependable, and full of love. Through gentle storytelling and warm illustrations, Tools Daddy Kept celebrates the bond between generations and reminds readers that the people we love leave pieces of themselves behind in the simplest things.
Perfect for families, classrooms, and bedtime reading, this touching collection honors blue-collar life, meaningful memories, and the everyday objects that quietly tell the stories of our lives.
