This collection of stories, like most traditional faerie (or folk) literature is intended for a broad audience: from older children through adults. The main character, a forest wanderer of many names, often finds himself involved in challenging circumstances. His predicaments range from frightening to amusing as he is met by both friends and adversaries during his travels. The sensitive might wish to be aware of pipe-smoking, beer-drinking and murder… and a greedy warlock government administrator. If given a chance you will most certainly enjoy this little story-collection of invention, humor, action and plot twists.
