One of the New Testament's most profound and theologically robust prayers is written by a transformed Paul in Ephesians 3:14–21. Drawing from the teaching of Jesus, the apostle asks the Father to endow the saints with power for two essential things: 1) to embrace by faith that Christ dwells within us (v. 17), and 2) to know this love-the love of Christ-that surpasses all knowledge (vv. 18–19).
To Know This Love is a daily exploration of these twin themes of union and love in the Ephesians prayer, Jesus's teaching, and Paul's letters. To be "in Christ" is Paul's way of describing what it means to be a Christian. To be in Jesus and to have Jesus living in us (John 15:4–5) is where it all begins.
Here, you will discover the support you need as you desire to be "filled to the measure of all the fullness of God" (Eph. 3:19). With fifty daily entries and reflection questions, you'll take a journey toward knowing your belovedness to Jesus and the reality that Christ and his love live in you.
