Lavren's artistic talent was discovered and encouraged, giving him the confidence to draw the world around him. This ultimately lead to multiple awards along with a prestigious national honours grade in his final junior year.At the age of 16, he began exploring other aspects of the Arts and soon realised the expressive power of literature, channelling concepts into the written word, as opposed to the visual illustration. It was during this time of experimentation and numerous re-writes, where vivid thoughts and ideas coalesced into firm stories.Although Lavren dabbled in Graphic Art and Design, he ultimately returned to writing primarily to complete numerous unfinished projects. When not tangled up in a cacophony of words, Lavren is a casual gamer, movie enthusiast and sunset observer. His close family has helped guide and support him every step of the way. His two ardent companions, Inky, a large indolent black cat and Axel, an intelligent Heeler cross German Shepard, are constant shadows.
