Charlotte Blood is about to discover the dark side of obsession in this gripping mystery. Perfect for fans of Lucy Foley.
A team of archaeologists claim to have found the final resting place of the original warrior Queen of the Britons – Boudica. It's the story of the century and investigative journalist Charlotte Blood wants nothing more than to get the inside scoop.
But Charlotte is not the only one hunting for the truth. Other journalists are also eager to find out if this is, in fact, the legendary queen's final resting place.
Instead of finding a giant piece of history, Charlotte makes a more horrifying discovery...
The tomb – which has reportedly been sealed shut for almost two thousand years – inexplicably also houses the dead body of a local woman. Even more bewildering is the fact that both bodies appear to have three different causes of death.
The deeper Charlotte dives into the case, the more she finds herself fascinated by a single question: what is the secret of the Threefold Death?
As Charlotte grows closer to discovering the killer, perhaps the question she should be asking is whether she will be the third victim …
Filled with history, mystery, and a relatable main character, Threefold Death will appeal to both history buffs and crime aficionados.
