It's a bumpy road ahead for Lady Thistle as she faces her biggest challenges yet between six months and two years old.
First, it's time to be weaned from her mother, Polly. But being separated is scary! When farmhands lead the foal and her mom to opposite sides of the gate, panic sets in...and Thistle plows through the fence!
Now comes the time to begin training, which means stepping onto the noisy, clanky ramp of a horse trailer. With patience, practice and a few tasty treats, Thistle begins to find her courage as she explores life beyond her mother's side and Waterdam Farm.
Based on a true story, this is the sixth book in The Lady Thistle series.
