About

As a wife, and mother,Charesse Roberts, a native
of Philadelphia, began writing at the age
of 11 during what started out as a school
assignment. While continuing to uplift, and inspire Charesse
strives to be a beacon of light within her community and her
generation absorbing unwavering faith through values from her
family and African American culture. While meeting her readers
where they are, her goals are education and empowerment on
how to break free from lifes chains of bondage disguised as
unforgiveness, fatherless daughters, hurt, emotional inavailability
and low self esteem. Having endured heartache, being a
single mother, learning to forgive what was once thought to
be unforgiveable and starting over, Charesse stands as a living
testimony that Prayer Changes Things.... In this, her fourth book,
Roberts has spoken on some hard hitting topics that are close
to home to not only herself , but to many silent voices...so open
your minds, and hearts because This Time Its Personal.
