Solsham's quest to became a legendary hero is severely hampered by having only a day to live.Young and usually not this dumb, Solsham's been poisoned by an artificial snake while treasure-hunting in the land of Peran. With almost no leads on what to do, the solitary warrior must consider some out-of-character plans that just might be crazy enough to work. Even the apparent favor of the gods and all the sword skill in the world isn't going to be enough unless he embarks on a whole new kind of adventure.Matthew Atkinson unsheathes his second published long-form work, a razor-sharp, jewel-encrusted novella called This Doom Shall Pass that will slash through your preconceptions of heroic fantasy.
