"My name is Hind Rajab. I am six years old. I was born in Gaza."They Have Names: Hind Rajab - In Her Voice is a poetic, symbolic tribute to Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed in Gaza in 2024 while pleading for help. Told in her voice, it blends memory and testimony. Through vivid language, symbolic imagery, and sacred silence, Hind returns not to recount what happened, but to be remembered as she lived - playful, wise, and full of dreams.Hind loved her family, her cats, her drawings, her stethoscope. She loved the sea.She waited. She spoke. She listened. She flew. This is not a story about war. It is a story about a child who still wants to be heard. It is not realism - it is ritual. A call to remember her name, to hear her voice, and to sit, even briefly, in the silence the world left behind.Part of They Have Names - a project bearing witness through theatre, poetry, audio, page, and storytelling. A refusal to forget.
