They Call Me Lemley

Grocery store checker Lemley lived a placid existence until his parents sell the family home, necessitating his move from their basement and to move out on his own. Through an old high school friend, he finds a roommate and a place to stay. This roommate appears to lack much in the way of a moral compass which becomes most apparent after he obtains employment at the same grocery store. The roommate-now-coworker enlists Lemley in at first, petty crime against the store, with developing plans for a more lucrative caper. Lemley surprises himself by his own willingness to go along, and not for any financial gain, but for reasons he himself finds difficult to identify.
