The Worldroot Artery, Volume II

Stonewake is the first volume in a sweeping epic fantasy series set in the crystal city of Saelithar, where Ilae Soryn, an analyst of the Serathen Accord, uncovers a centuries-old secret buried beneath her city. When an earthquake opens a cavern filled with living Aelaryn crystal, Ilae descends into a forgotten world of shardlings, ancient guardians, and a Titan imprisoned since before memory. Joined by the swordsman Saevir Aelyrion and the scholar Caer Mournel, she races to understand the awakening of Draethis-the Burrower, before it reaches the surface. Stonewake is a tale of discovery, survival, and the fragile balance between civilization and the primal forces beneath.
