About

In the blue-collar town of Woodrow, Ohio, Aiden Baker dreams of a better home life. After an alleged family friend, an elderly man named Grady Hodgson, fosters the boy over a weekend while his father recovers from an injury, Aiden hopes Grady is the adult he has longed for, not the occultist he characterizes. After all, Grady finds Aiden's runaway pet Terrier, Scout, and provides the boy with clothes that fit him. He even cuts his hair. Although Aiden notices a striking resemblance to Grady's deceased grandson in a photograph after the trim, he feels indebted to the man plagued with fickle arthritis, so he ignores the coincidence and his peculiar obsession with empty jars. But on the eve before Aiden is to return home, something near the woodshed alerts Scout. Grady admonishes Aiden to stay put while he investigates the noise. Aiden disobeys the order and steals a glance through the kitchen window anyway and discovers Grady has been hiding something inside the wood shed.Aiden must choose between new and old family in this cosmic horror tale inspired by Ohio's own urban legend Hell's Ravine if he wants the home life he so desires.
