Book 1 Extended is the untold backstory to the original Book 1. As you may recall, the children ran into a big problem early on. But the calamity ends up being the springboard to new and fun adventures. As the children travel to Thumb Peninsula, Book 1 Extended tells of the many animals native to Canada not told in the original Book 1. But be warned: the terrible monster sequence is also extended.
