As the author of a memoir, I share my life story, beginning with my childhood experiences. Having immigrated to America at a young age, I began documenting my memories in writing. Three years ago, I started organizing these recollections into cohesive narratives using my notes. As a devoted father who cherishes family, I balance my writing with my retirement. Currently, I am nearing completion of another book and making the most of my available time.
About the Book
This story begins with my grandparents in the late eighteenth century. My mother was born in the United States, only to return with her parents to Italy at a young age. Fifty-four years later she returned to America with me, making the beginning of my life journey... A story of a young immigrant's journey to America at a tender age, raised solely by my mother, encountered numerous adversities that threatened to derail my life.
