Do you like trains? Many children do. Now here's an opportunity to learn all about trains in a fun way.
In her book The Traveling Train, part of the Oh My, I Think I See Book series, author Nani uses rhyming text, repetition and a catchy verse to teach you about different types of trains, train cars, the engineer and railroad crossings. You'll also have the chance to practice your counting, recognize colors and help develop visual perception. And as you read the book again and again, you'll be able to fill in the rhymes yourself!
The Traveling Train provides preschoolers and young children a fun way to learn to read by reinforcing word recognition skills. Learning while having fun helps ensure a successful experience.
A list of rhyming words from the story is located at the end of the book for further practice with word recognition.
