Life is hard, people are unpredictable, and God is good! The Transition Game is volume one in a fictional Adventures in Faith series that helps anyone looking at the Christian faith (new believers, ministry leaders and their families, and others interested in what ministry is all about) to share in and learn from the experiences, ups and downs, trauma and victories that come into and through the lives of our fictional pilgrim Win and his co-adventurers. We learn, among other things, that the Christian life and ministry are not for cowards. The walk of faith is multidimensional, and God's grace abounds as we all step out to follow Jesus. The Transition Game is a book of great hope! "Stress. Anger. Hurt. Conflict and frustration. If any of these words have resonated with you through ministry, this book is for you. This book will heal. I know that it did for me. I read this at a pivotal and gut wrenching season in my ministry. After reading, I felt a huge weight being lifted, knowing I wasn't alone. But more importantly, the Lord brought comfort and peace! It should be a must read to any who is involved at any level in ministry." -Senior/Lead Pastor & Educator May the Lord give you "a word fitly spoken like apples of gold in settings of silver" (Proverbs 25:11, NKJV ) as you enjoy The Transition Game. Billy Graham once said, "Some of you today are going through heartache and grief so intense that you wonder if it will ever go away. But I want to tell you that our God cares for you and for your family and for your city. For God loves you, and he shares in your suffering" (prayer service after the Oklahoma City bombing, April 23, 1995).
