In a complex world of humanity and ancestral dragon heritage, Kalaxy is a strong warrior who suffers an unimaginable loss that forces her to reexamine the course of her life. When she arrives home three weeks early from her military duty, Kalaxy's nose is assaulted by the scent of blood. Thick, red, and iron-filled, the pools of gore surround two of her most trusted servants and her mate. Murdered in cold blood, those lost from her house were only the first in a senseless battle that spanned lifetimes. Kalaxy is a Golden dragon, and her non-human side must come face-to-face with centuries-old struggles that spiral her life into a dark maze of betrayal. Orchestrated by a group whose true intent is to return a peaceful society back to its ancient and violent past, the machinations behind the loss of Kalaxy's mate force dragon houses to the brink of war to preserve the somewhat peaceful life they once had. With her home in shambles and unquenchable rage of vengeance burning a hole in her soul, toughened warrior Kalaxy decides to take on the political, military, and emotional quagmire that lays ahead to prevent a future that mirrors her ancestor's past horrors. The Time Is Now is a uniquely-written accessible adult fantasy novel for fans of dragons, power, lore, and romance. It's intended for truly anyone who wants to get away from reality for a while and dive into another world where, no matter how dark the night may seem, morning's light will always shine through.
