Due to a strange prophetic dream, three Setians were dispatched by their respective lords to Betolien-the plane farthest from the City of the Ten Realms-to track down the traitor who had stolen the secret treasure that sustains the magical metropolis. The conflicting interests of the three different factions made this mission-akin to finding a needle in a haystack-even more daunting. Moreover, this journey, which was essentially a one-way trip, was not as straightforward as they had imagined. Upon arriving in the otherworld, the team leader, Al, discovered a shocking truth: his father, whom he had never met, belonged to the same ancient empire as the traitor, Bal-an empire that had fallen a thousand years ago. The mystery shrouding his origins made the mission to track down the traitor and recover the sacred treasure even more difficult.
