When a stranger from a modern land surprises Sarah and her adventuring companions mid-fight with a wizard, everyone gets more than they bargained for. Can he find his way back home? Can she find a way to deal with him?"The Sword Remembers" takes the classic fantasy trope of the accidental tourist from our time, thrust into a fantasy world, and turns it sideways as it explores different aspects of what would happen. Creatures, magic, fighting, and humor--this story will fill your need for a quick sword and sorcery tale with a twist. Liam was born and raised primarily in Colorado in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains, lost for a while in the midwest, he currently lives in Oregon with his wife and daughter and too many books crying from the shelves, demanding to be read. He has a Masters Degree in English with a focus on creative writing (yes, come to find out, such a thing actually is possible) and plans to continue on to an MFA or PhD. In the meantime, he has completed his first full-length science fiction novel, Singularity Deferred, and is in the process of finding appropriate hiking boots.
