The troubles we helped each other through are times I won’t forget.
Never knew how close the edge was, you pulled me back and that was fine.

Words hurt you said, you chose then carefully.
I finally responded, What’s left unsaid hurts more.
Shall I slip out to the gorge, loose gravel at the edge?
Wish upon my evening star and dance upon the ledge?
