About
Hunter becomes the hunted in this chilling middle-grade survival story.
The Snipe Hunt weaves new folklore and Southern grit into a suspenseful tale of fear, friendship, and finding courage in the dark.
When new girl Clover Portis agrees to join four classmates for a snipe hunt, she expects a night around the campfire and a chance to fit in-not a fight for her life. What begins as a harmless prank takes a terrifying turn when something ancient and ravenous wakes in the forest.
Trapped deep in Karma Creek Woods, the teens must rely on their wits and each other to survive until morning. As secrets unravel and tensions rise, Clover discovers a strength she didn't know she had-and learns the worst monsters aren't always the ones with claws.
Part Southern folklore, part survival thriller, The Snipe Hunt is a chilling coming-of-age tale about fear, friendship, the darkness we carry within-and the strength it takes to step into the light.
