A viral rumor. A rare turtle. A beach town bracing for impact.
When word of a rare sea turtle sighting near Pearl Beach hits the airwaves, the quiet Florida town is suddenly thrust into the spotlight-and no one is more surprised than sisters-in-law Kelsey and Lanie, whose offhand comment sparked the frenzy.
Reporters, tourists, and wildlife enthusiasts descend overnight, flooding Dillon and Owen's eco-tour business while Julia watches from the Shell Shop with pride-and worry. She raised her kids to care for baby turtles and orphaned raccoons, but nothing prepared them for this kind of attention.
As pressure builds and questions mount, the truth becomes murkier. Was there ever a rare turtle… or just a story too good not to believe?
Now, the town must find a way to balance conservation and curiosity, fame and authenticity-and a quiet discovery by young Thomas may become the heart of it all.
Return to Pearl Beach, where the wildlife is wild, the bonds run deep, and some miracles are meant to be shared… and others quietly kept.
