In this book, Smith takes you on a journey through the dark side of some of life's compromising situations and allows an avenue for you to see the light. Each poem gives a quick abstruse view of trials and tribulations that we might recognize either within others or within ourselves, ending with a word of encouragement to continue to seek happiness. This book points out some of life's vulnerable situations that stimulate your soul-searching and thought-provoking mindset to seek peace in a not-so-peaceful situation.
There are many life lessons in everyday living. Everyone has a story or testimony that others can benefit from. Many of the things that we see or experience in life are not only for us to learn from but also are meant to help guide others. Sharing our own experiences, no matter how painful, can help others get over whatever they are going through. Smith wants people to know that they are not alone. A large amount of the negativity we experience cannot hurt us unless we let it. This book is that beam of light to guide you to the door to exit the darkness and enter a place of peace.
