Christians want to grow in their relationship with God but are often unsure how growth works, or even why it is important. The Road Home outlines a biblical view of the process and purpose of Christian living. What is Christian growth, and why does it matter? How does the Christian's everyday life fit in God's plan? What part of growth does God empower, and what must believers do? To answer these questions, we need to understand the plan God had in mind before the world began: a family of sons and daughters who would know his fellowship forever. We also need to grasp how daily Christian life contributes to the fulfillment of that plan. As Christians walk with God in faith, his grace conforms them to the image of Jesus. Seeing why likeness to Jesus is important and how it develops will help believers cooperate with God and grow into what he means for them to become. Whether you are a pastor or a new believer, if you are looking for a deeper understanding of Christian growth, The Road Home can help.
