About
A Robin Brande Short Story Single.
THEY'RE HERE. AND THEY CAN'T GO BACK.
It's Jonna's first day volunteering at the refugee placement center. Her chance to show that the human race is kind.
The refugees are extraterrestrials. Families, mostly, escaping to Earth when their own home planet is destroyed.
Jonna has a lot to learn about the system-and about her fellow humans.
But she has even more to learn about the aliens now among us.
[This story also appears in the cozy science fiction collections HEART OF THE FUTURE and THE MIRACULOUS UNKNOWN.]
