In the year 2180, the Solar System is at peace - except for the fearsome space pirates, of whom none is more feared than the mysterious, beautiful Red Peri, who terrorises the spaceways in the ship that takes her name. When the spaceship on which physicist Frank Keene is a passenger falls prey to the pirates, the scene is set for a showdown between him and Peri in her underground base on Pluto.
