An inclusive one-of-a-kind approach to wedding planning that encourages couples to let go of tradition and plan a party that feels as unique as their love story, from a trailblazing "anti-wedding wedding planner."
Congratulations, you're engaged! But before you have a chance to soak in the moment, the questions are already rolling in. When's the big date? Where's the venue? What are your colors? Weddings are amazing, but society tends to get overly rigid and fussy about them, while putting all the focus on the bride rather than the couple as a whole.
The Rebel Wedding Planning Guidebook takes a different approach; it cordially invites you to break the rules and put the love back into wedding planning. You may break every single rule or you may just break a few, but this book gives you permission to ignore the "have-tos" or "should-dos" and instead consider "what will feel most like us?"
For many couples, this is the first time you're project managing something this expensive and important together, which can be stressful, but this book will take you by the hand and guide you through every step of the process, including:How to decide which traditions to keep, toss, or reimagineHow to build a guest list to ensure the vibes are just rightAdvice for LGBTQ+ couples, who have been traditionally overlooked by the wedding industryWhat to wear to feel your best (and why wedding diets are total BS!)How to be present (instead of performative) during your ceremonyA sample budget so you can get a sense of what you can expect to spend on your big day
Complete with a detailed planning timeline, checklists, journal prompts, sample email templates for vendors, and design inspiration, this is truly the only wedding planning book you will ever need. Plus, along the way, there are interactive exercises to strengthen your bond as a couple-and even make the process fun. After all, the wedding is really just a kickoff party to the rest of your lives.
