About

Sam Mortimer genuinely appreciated his good friend and former schoolmate Jim Evans. He had always marveled at Evans’s clearness and breadth of vision.
None of the Admirals at the heads of bureaus in Washington had seemed able to see things in so large a perspective; none had helped him to grasp the fundamental principles of the problem before him as this man, trained in science, yet versed in naval affairs as well.

When Sam finds himself shouldering no less a responsibility than that of Secretary of the Navy, and with the European crisis coming to a head, he turns to his good friend, Jim Evans.
Evans, a former Radio Gunner and Warrant Officer during WW1, had served with distinction, along with many of his former schoolmates, including Sam himself.

With the impending War looming on the horizon, Sam assigns Evans the task of improving the underperforming radio communication systems, crucial to the outcome of the War.

As Evans begins to make progress, strange things start to happen; the accidents, mishaps, and missed messages just seem like bad luck or random every day occurences.

Jim soon suspects that someone has infiltrated the team and is sabotaging their equipment and passing secrets to their enemies, but he doesn’t know who and no one will listen.

With time running out and thousands of lives on the line, Jim has to find the spy before they succeed in crippling the American Navy and its ability to defend itself.

Take the dangerous journey alongside two old friends as they desperately try to discover who, in their midst, is helping the enemy to achieve world dominance.

How do you stop a secret agent?

How do you find a traitor?
