The Proposal

In 2003 while on a trip to the Ukraine, a beautiful woman approached
Desiderata Lessard and said that Jesus told her in a dream to give her the
ring she was wearing-and that Desiderata was to wear it as a reminder
of who she belonged to: Jesus the Bridegroom. Shocked and amazed,
Desiderata, whose heart was not right with God at that time, did not fully
grasp the message and symbolism behind the ring.
That moment marked the beginning of a divine pursuit-a love story
between a wandering heart and a relentless God. The ring, both in the
parable and in her life, became a symbol of grace-restoring identity,
authority, and belonging. In a story of being found, forgiven, and forever
changed, Desiderata reveals a God who does not wait at a distance, but
meets us in our brokenness and clothes us in His righteousness. Included
is a Bible study, leader's guide, and a thirty-day devotional tailored
for small groups or women's ministries, Bible study circles, personal
devotion, and healing journeys.
The Proposal: The Bridegroom's Return is a heartfelt invitation to spend time
with Jesus as a believer shares her inspiring story of grace, forgiveness,
and of being found again.
