The Power of Redemption

This is a true story. Gerald Shoemaker is a survivor of a homegrown, religious cult that almost decimated his life and the lives of his family. They were dominated by highly controlling leaders, led by his brother-in-law, who claimed to be a prophet of God. The second in command was his ex-wife. They separated members of families to remove any outside influence. They were predators of young women for the Prophet to devour, predators of young men to be his houseslaves, and predators of anyone with money to support his hedonistic lifestyle. He claims that the practices of polygamy and pedophilia are sanctioned by the Bible.
