Midlands, 1942. In a munitions factory, three women risk their lives filling shells for the front. When an inspector dies in a vat of cordite, Joan, Elsie, and Ruby refuse to believe it was an accident. Their search for the truth exposes a saboteur ring and a plot to blow the factory sky-high. Between air raids, love letters, and night shifts, they must stop a disaster that would cost hundreds of lives. A stirring Home Front cozy about friendship, danger, and the women who fought the war from the factory floor.
