Ten years ago, Adalinda lost her memories. She survived a fall from the sky. A trek through the desert. And the darkness of imprisonment. Now, she has to survive a murder, while hiding from those who would put her back in chains. To conceal herself, Adalinda becomes a sculptor in the Mirror Gallery, and she manages to remain in this persona, undiscovered, for almost a decade. But when a murdered woman is found, hung above one of her marble sculptures, Adalinda becomes tangled in the brutal game of a revenge driven murderer. The search for the killer throws Adalinda into a world of covert warriors and mythological Gods, and Adalinda is forced to make a sacrifice. Continue hiding, hovering in the blossom of a romance with a detective she knows will never truly be within reach. Or reveal what is lurking beneath the scarf she keeps tightly wrapped around her head and allow death to spread like a plague in the hopes of stopping both the murderer and the warriors before it is too late.
