Disappointed by love, single mom Ruby McKinley has decided to throw her whole heart into parenthood. Getting involved with a friend of her ex-husband's would be a bad idea even if she weren't taking in a foster baby. But rancher Julian Sanchez and baby Jay enter her life at the same time, testing Ruby's resolve. Julian had secretly crushed on her in high school, only to miss his chance when his best friend won her over. Years later, Julian knows Ruby is worth the wait, and he'll do whatever it takes to prove he's nothing like her ex, and he's playing for keeps.
