About
The Evermore Island Community was a radical cult that ended in genocide. Only five people survived. Twenty-seven years later the survivors are being picked off one by one. Ryland Ferris, a psychic medium, reaches out to the ghosts of Evermore to expose the killer. The spirits refuse to move on, and in a horrifying twist, their bodies begin to walk with a malevolent force controlling them. Ryland realizes he's not only chasing a killer, but a powerful necromancer.
Many lives are brought together by the dark magic taking place. Mergen Bolt is a spiritual shaman determined to help Ryland solve the case. Lila Ferris is one of the five survivors trying to identify the killer before time runs out. Pastor Ronan Halstein's church is in jeopardy from the rising dead targeting his sanctuary. Their worlds collide to stop a mutual threat, but everyone's bitterness and rage may very well be their own undoing.
Ryland has to stop the killer, save his family, and unravel the secrets of a long lost cult. He has to find a spiritual force strong enough to defeat the necromancer and put the dead back to sleep. Out of all the magic at play, Ryland is powerless to Mergen's charm casting its spell on his heart. Dark forces are plaguing the city. A wicked vendetta is underway. The line between man and monster vanishes as life and death collide. Ryland and Mergen have to accept love isn't a fairy tale. It's a ghost story.
