Genesis, a secret cult operating in plain sight, has one goal: rid the world of death. They'll do anything to achieve it, including sending their unkillable army after a band of Reapers that got away.
Constantly changing jobs, homes, even names at the slightest hint of discovery, Jade, Deanna, and Esley can think of only one thing. Survival. And they're prepared for anything.
Anything but getting separated.
After narrowly evading Genesis yet again, Jade must fend for herself. Alone.
She wishes she were alone. With Blaise, an immortal companion unwillingly attached to her soul, she journeys to the only place a Reaper can truly call home, the Underworld, to hone her newfound abilities.
As Genesis grows bolder, putting more than just her friends in danger, can Jade move beyond survival and find the key to defeating them?
