The Light

In her moving and extremely exciting debut, young author Lina Studinger tells the story of Tommy – a young man, a bit of a crook, a bit of a hero – Himmelreich – a young, upright woman – the old and wise Mary and their friends. In an ever-narrowing world, they stand against Marc Larien, the newly elected president with a dazzling appearance and a dark soul, and his supporters. In its universality, their real struggle for justice and freedom harbors many deadly dangers.

A remarkable debut, gripping to the last page!
